Trip to the Panching Waterfalls again
(Friday, 3 June 2005)
Despite the fact that my room mate & I spent the night before that chatting away ‘til 4 a.m., I had no choice but to pull myself up from the nice sleep at 8a.m., as this day was a day planned for an outing to the waterfalls. The 5 of us friends have made plans to go for a picnic. It was to be their first time to that waterfall.
Chen and the rest from the other room were given the key to our room for that day. They usually sleep much earlier than my roommate & I, thus they woke up & prepare the sandwiches for the picnicKekeke…We had egg and sardine sandwiches…almost 2 ½ loaves of bread!

Throughout the ride to the waterfalls, I was feeling a lil zombified. Knowing that I am not one who is used to the sleep-late kinda routine, I struggle having just 4 hours of sleep for the day. Joey is SO used to it; her night is our day, and her day, our night. *sigh* Since I’ve been there once with Kin Hup and the rest, I was the navigator for the day…oh, boy…a half-dead navigator.
We arrived around 10+ a.m. & went straight to the site where I went the last time. A Malay worker took us up to the spot- the same one who took Jeri, Alfred, Kevin, Kin Hup, Kuan and I the first time I went. We took quite a lot of photos with the camera phone that Joey has. That was the only source of memory-capturing tool we had that time. None of us has a camera with us in uni. Thus, scenic photos aren't very nice & sharp.

I enjoyed myself very much as compared to my first time there. Perhaps it’s because I am not with a group of solely guys this time; not so ‘pai-sè’. I got myself all wet, dipped myself in the water like never before, and oh, just soaked myself in the pool of great joy. Who created such beauty? Oh, MY God, yeah man. The scenery was awesome. I never did explore that place the first time I went. I was mainly around the same spot, dipping a lil and chatting with Kuan and Kin Hup only. *sigh* What a waste. My friends and I hiked up and down the stream this time around. It was truly wonderful!

The best surprise for the day came after the picnic. We were on our way to town for lunch when a sms came in; it’s form dear Kin Hup. Ahah…I told him that we were in town heading to ‘Happy Together’ for lunch. Coincidence…? He, Kuan and another friend were having lunch there too! Wow…I was overjoyed. ..and I thought I wouldn’t be meeting this friend of mine already until he completes his masters in KB. Gah.
I was dead tired by the time I arrived at Abishua’s house. I quickly washed my clothes and snoozed the evening away. The day was just way too eventful…loads were happening in the house & *sigh* well, well, I went for dinner with Abi’s mum, Gail & Phoebe only. Abi had a row with his mum.
The ‘bo-chai-si’ part of me was greater that day; I stayed up to watch the Malaysian Idol and the Wife Swap show on Astro with Abi. More exciting news? Saturday was to be a full day just as well; another picnic!!! This time with the MYFers at Teluk Cempedak…gosh…I was SO pooped at the end of the weekend...
