Mask

Everyday I wear a mask
To cover up the fear
To hide the insecurities
Which are unwelcome here.
I want them all to be fooled
I hope no one can see,
This mask I put on to hide
My personality.
Once I tried to take it ff
To show what I hide inside.
But it seemed no one understood
And much preferred the liar.

Random thoughts

Thinking of teaching (lecturer) as an option when I grad. I may stay in KUKTEM should I ever choose teaching as my next step... yeah, staying back in the east coast that is...

Last Debate Championship

Done with the Women's Debates. I'm done with debates for now. It's time to concentrate on my studies & get my final year project done, plus, get a proper job. *sigh* Time to really move on. Btw, I'm moving back to uni this Friday d. The new term will be kicking on soon!

Debates...you'll never see me in it next year

The most recent debate that I participated was the 'Great Serdang Debate Championship', held in UPM, organised by the Kolej Tun Dr Ismail students. On the whole, the competition was alright, but the adjudicating was not very professional. Many adjudicators are not properly trained (some are first time debators without adjudicating experience!!) I didn't really make any new friends this time around...so unlike me...haha...

The only part where I had a good time was during the training in KL prior the debate. We stayed at the AnCasa Hotel, beside the Puduraya bus terminal for 3 days 2 nights. It's been a very long time since I actualy stayed n a hotel. I reckon, the last time was when I was in JB (2 years ago, I reckon), when Mabel won a 2 days 1 night stay. I practically shifted my entire bedroom to the hotel, where myself & another girl, Charlene, stayed with the 2 lecturers in the same room. We had about 10 other guys in 2 separate rooms, and we had loads of fun :) Of course, I got pretty irritated with some of the guys when they took my Jolly Mah & my pillow (the one that Mabel gave), and threw it around the room...bah! Oh well, I gather that guys will FOREVER be like that...

*****
The next debate championship will be the UiTM Women's Debate Championship, starting this Friday, 16-18 June 2006. I guess I'll make this competition the last debate competition that I'll ever enter (in my uni years). I'm too bored and tired of debating, and I'm actually wasting a lot of time just to train & debate... *sigh* I doubt I'll go for the Royales this year, although it'll be in Sarawak, the one state that I've never been to yet. I rather
avoid the stress and go to Sarawak myself, or with some friends. In any case, I'll be entering my final year this July, so it's seriously time to focus on my studies again.

Really old pics!

Who's who??

Go
on guessing man! Some of the pics are 20+ years old!!

Looove the pics...I found more in my grandpa's house...coolness man!

Under construction

This site will be under construction til the end of June...somehow the entire site is wonky d...

Faith...where are you?

I'm losing my faith...in everything. *sigh* Things just happen...and dampen my spirit to go on. I noticed that the closer I am to making a decision, more events will come up and disappoint me. Bah.

I'll try to hang on despite it being SO tough to not-lose-grip.

****
I'll be leaving for the debate training later today. The upcoming debate competition will be held in UPM this weekend frm Friday-Sunday...yet another week of not going to church. *sigh* But seriously, I can't wait to go for the debates. The more exciting one will be next week, I reckon: The UiTM's Women Debate Competition. Coolness man! Can't wait.

Struggle after struggle, one after another the circumstances pop-up; I feel like quitting SRC...but I only have 3 more months to go. No matter how 'san fu' it is, I'll have to go on.

Cute children

These were some of the kids that I had fun with during the recent church camp at Glory Beach Resort, Port Dickson (29 April-1 May)

L->R: Rebecca, Alithea, & Josephine

The kid in the middle is my favourite, Irene. she looks much cuter when she smiles properly :)

Joel , Rev Buell's son

2 cute boys...can't remember both..but I know the one on the right is Gabriel

This lil kid wanted me to draw a 'car earring' on his left ear lobe!! Gosh...boys these days...

A silly accomplishment

I went to the hospital last Friday. Due to the hyperthyroidism case that I have, I had no choice but to make a visit to the hospital. Thank God for Kuan. If not for him, I'll have even more trouble to get things done at the hospital. There was no need to register (and pay!), and the best part is that there is no need to wait for several hours before seeing the doctor! *grin*

*sigh* I hate going to the hospital. Despite the fact that I have easy access to doctors and all, I still dislike to see the doc for check-ups and stuff. I had to do a couple of blood tests again and I was given a huge pack of medication (Carbimazole) to take. It's to last me for 2 months- SIX tablets a day. Bah.

I didn't have any transport to get back to Abi's house, so haha...I walked back! Eeekkk!! It was an absolutely mad thing to do... a 45 min walk home. The feel was great though. Teeheehee...

Oh, life is such. What a wonderful life I'm living...
