More updates

Finally I could get into this site to post up some stuff. It has been quite difficult to connect to the internet from my room.

Since the last time I posted up something, much has taken place. Right after the SRC training at Balok Beach, I attended another training for the MT of Clubs and Societies, and the SRC. The leadership training konon-nya, was to plan out the entire year's schedule and get all the societies to pick their dates for their activities.

For 5 days, I was stuck at a junglish area, Dusun Eco Resort, Bentong, situated along the Kuantan highway. It's a totally ulu place with nothing much to offer except the lush green and the far-from-civilization style living. There wasn't much of a telecommunication line to begin with. Thus I was practically cut-off from the world for 5 days!

To cut all things short (since I am running out of time to type...I have class in 15 minutes time), we used the day to do our planning, and the evenings to have our outdoor activities. The day starts at 7am and ends around 2am the next day...for the SRC members that is.

The only highlights for this training were the outdoor activities such as the obstacle course, which I nearly died there, the flying-fox, and the 3+hours jungle trek into the jungle. The path that we took was quite slippery and steep, considering the rain came down during the couple of days we were there. Bummer. Thankfully I didn't injure myself that badly...just a couple of bruises and aches all over my poor body.

Right after that training, I went home (PJ) for Christmas. This year's Christmas seem to pass ever so fast that I don't even know what I have done! *sigh* Nothing much took place after that as I had to get back to uni after 4 days of kono break. Well, at least I had the opportunity to meet up with some friends before I head back to uni. What a consolation.

I am looking forward to this weekend though. Will be heading down south to JB, Mabel's place, to spend the New Year with her and Fern. I hope to update this site more often...sigh...
