Year 2006

Year 2006 started off with a not so good note. I'm a total slacker... haven't been spending quality time with the Lord. Bah. Discipline, Miss Wong...

I've been pretty busy of late, & have been on the road more often than in the hostel. Teehee... right after the trip to JB, I tried to be a good girl & stayed in uni to settle my work, & am trying to start off my academic year with a better attitude towards my studies. (I SO have to get my grades back into the Dean's List!!!)

So far, each week has been flying by too quickly for me to notice anything. Pah. As a SRC member, I was invited for a dinner at the Vistana Hotel last week. Not too bad... sitting at the same table with the SRC guys was quite fun. We 'sapu' the food a tad too quickly & kekeke...the waiter was shocked to see most of the plates on the table sparkling clean before the rice arrived. *pai se* Trust this term's SRC for more fun & more exciting activities as well.

I've been spending my weekend & the Raya Haji holidays in Abi's house a.k.a. my Kuantan home. Will be going back to uni tomorrow d *sigh* I feel that it is very silly to go back for a day & get back to town the next day for yet another weekend. There'll be class on Thursday & Friday, & the weekend will be around again. Bummer. Weekends are usually spent in town, so there I go again... gah. Getting out of uni that Friday was difficult enough.

We (my room mate & I) had to tumpang someone's car out to the terminal. Teh car was really packed, with 7 adults in it. Walau-wey, overloaded lor. The best part was that the car was flying across the 'highway' at 110-120 km/h!! Gosh, I was practically hanging on to my dear life. *beads of sweat trickling down my head* Thank God that we got to the terminal in one piece, although my legs were crammed. Can't really complain. *sigh*

Another day will pass by really soon. Before I can sit down & realise, I have to get back to uni again & start work. I reckon 2006 will sweep by quickly. Ah, life...
